Assistant Production Event Coordinator

Born and raised in Jefferson Park in Chicago, I’ve been a part of the local Chicago music scene for the last 15 years playing in bands as a bassist or running live sound at local DIY venues around the city and I still do in between my work here at The DJ Firm.

Going to college at Columbia College Chicago originally for audio engineering led me to understand the ins and outs of signal flow, spacial audio, and quality of sound. After pivoting to a music business degree, I began to see the level of detail involved in events and how important attention to detail is in making sure they run smoothly and flawlessly to those attending. 

When I joined The DJ Firm, I started as an Audio Tech. Going to the events, preparing our set ups, and ensuring the quality of the sound is up to our standards. DJ Jem asked me to start helping in the warehouse preparing for our production events: large lighting rigs, LED walls, huge sound set ups, you name it. From there I began to learn from him how to effectively set these events up and operate them.

Now as the Assistant Production Event Coordinator, I’m here to ensure clean and precise set ups, flawless execution of the operation of your event, and be there to pack up and clean up without you ever knowing we were there. When it comes to the preparation and operation of your event, I’m there to make it happen. 

Fun Fact: I’m a huge Marvel nerd. If you let me, I can explain the entire MCU Franchise to you, but it might take an hour or two.
