Originally from Chanhassen, Minnesota, the hometown of music legend Prince, she now calls Chicago home and is proud to be part of The DJ Firm. Known for her hype, enthusiasm, and magnetic presence, Janelle turned her passion for music and dancefloors into a career, training under the mentorship of DJ Jem at The DJ Firm. She’s living proof that bold dreams can become reality with dedication and drive.
An open-format DJ, Janelle seamlessly blends hits from every decade and genre. Her go-to styles include Top 40, pop, hip hop, dance, EDM, punk, and K-pop, as well as themed sets like Disney classics, Broadway showtunes, and movie soundtracks—perfect for sing-alongs and unforgettable moments.
